Life can throw us curveballs and you may need to ship us back your unused items, we get it.Ā Our small business offers the following solution forĀ those moments.
We offer a 45-day return policy time frame to refund purchases of unused merchandise. Items must be returned in the original package, unused, with all original parts to be refunded credit per the terms below. Refunds are credited back to the same credit card used for payment. We covered the shipping charges to you, however,Ā returns unfortunately do not qualify for free shipping.
The cost of shipping items back will by the responsibility of the customer.Ā Ā Please noteĀ shipping can be expensive and varies depending on the distance, size and weight of the product (especially tents). Customers returning products will also be liable for a 5% restocking feeĀ (this covers pesky credit card processing fees, inspection, and repackaging costs).
PleaseĀ e-mail us prior to return to receive authorization number and return instructions.
Once we receive the item and confirmed that it is unused and in resalable shape, we will issue a refund (minus the restocking fee) within 5 days of receipt - pending product inspection.Ā Ā Note: We unfortunately can't take responsibly for any packages getting lost or damaged during their return journey.Ā Ā
If merchandise is damaged during delivery to you, we ask you notify Life inTents immediately so that we can remedy the situation.
Sorry, we cannot allow for the return of used tents, gear or accessories.
Order cancellations prior to items shipping will require a 3% fee deducted from the order refund to compensated for credit card transaction fees.

Once your tent is pitched, pleaseĀ send usĀ photos of your set-up so we can help provide tips about improving any structuralĀ details that couldĀ help minimize any possible long-term stress from the environment or rigging that may impact the tents lifespan or warranty coverage.
We stand behind our craftsmanship!Ā Life inTentsā¢ brandedĀ canvas tents,Ā bell tents & accessories carry a limitedĀ 30-month warrantyĀ (from date of purchase)Ā against defects in the workmanship and materials when our tents are usedĀ for recreational purposes. Any tent whose quality is compromised at the time of manufacturing will be repaired (or in special circumstances, replaced) at our discretion.Ā Return freight requires customer prepayment.
While these tents are built tough to give them a fighting chance against Mother Nature, they are still fabric structures.Ā Thoroughly studying the user manual and maintenance guide is highly recommendedĀ when making a tent purchase. Many scenarios that these tents can be exposed to are out of our control once they leave our warehouse, such as: Ā any modified guy line rope rigging procedures, weather patterns, regular maintenance, deck designs, pollen, extreme micro-climates (wind, snow, humidity), soil compositions, caterpillars, etc, etc.
The tent warrantyĀ does notĀ cover damages arising from normal outdoor use, including:Ā improper set-up, mold, mildew, UV exposure,Ā extreme weather, wood stove and air conditioner use, fire, damage during storage,Ā worn zippers, nor fabric holes or damage caused by neglect or accidents. Warranty does not cover improper modified guy rope rigging ifĀ tent is placed on a deck platform.Ā Warranty is not valid if unapproved canvas cleaning or protective chemical products are used, improper cleaning methods used, or aftermarket customizations are made to the tent materials or hardware.
Tents used for long-term set-up greater than 21 consecutiveĀ days at a time do not qualify for theĀ 30-month warranty.Ā Such use does however come with a 12-month warrantyĀ insteadĀ (from date of purchase). Any tent whose quality is compromised at the time of manufacturing will be repaired or replaced, at our discretion.Ā
Return freight for warranty repairs or replacement requires customer prepayment.
Post-Warranty Period - We Still Care!
We of course will still provide aĀ lifetime of supportĀ after theĀ warrantyĀ period expires to help solve for any challenges that you may encounter with your tent. We are a company that takes quality and service of our customers very seriously. We will always try and help you, but unfortunately wonāt be responsible for all losses of tents or interior furnishings. While these are luxury camping tents, some situations are out of our control.Ā
